What we treat as urgent
If any of this sounds familiar, do not wait for a routine appointment.
Severe toothache
Pain that does not ease with a painkiller, throbbing pain, or pain that wakes you at night.
Broken or cracked tooth
A chipped piece, a cracked crown, or a tooth that has become loose after a knock.
Swelling and infection
A swollen cheek or gum, pressure, pus or a bad taste. An infection should not be left to wait.
Lost filling or crown
A filling that fell out, a crown or bridge that came loose, or a tooth that is very sensitive to hot and cold.
What to do before you arrive
This does not replace an examination, but it helps keep things from getting worse until you reach us.
Call us first
Tell us what happened and when you can come. Emergency visits are arranged by phone as soon as possible while we are open.
Pain: take a painkiller as directed
Check the adult or child dose on the leaflet and take it with food. Do not put a tablet on the gum — it does not help and can burn the tissue.
Broken tooth: keep the piece
Keep it in saline or milk. Do not glue it back or force it into place. Until you arrive, chew on the other side and avoid very hot or cold food.
Swelling: cool it from the outside
Cool the cheek for 15 minutes, then take a break; never put ice directly on the skin. Do not apply heat and do not squeeze the swelling.
Lost filling or crown
Keep the crown and do not use glue. Do not chew on that side until you are seen, and clean the tooth with a soft brush.
When not to wait for an appointment
If you have difficulty breathing or swallowing, swelling that spreads towards the neck or under the tongue, or a high temperature with swelling — contact the nearest emergency department immediately (194 in Serbia). Then message us so we can continue the treatment.

Sve pohvale. Nekoliko drugih me otkačilo jer je stvar bila hitna. Termini su bili tek za 7-10 dana. Ovde sam primljen urgentno, bukvalno 15 minuta od mog poziva. U međupauzi između druga 2 pacijenta je urađena intervencija bukvalno za 20 minuta i sprečen dublji problem. Profesionalizam, kako stručni, tako i poslovni koji se retko sreće. We take emergency cases the same day while the practice is open. The exact time depends on how full the day is, so call us straight away — you will get the first free appointment.
For an emergency, call us even without one. We cannot promise to see you in 15 minutes, but we will tell you immediately when you can come.
Send a message on WhatsApp or Viber — it reaches us immediately and we answer as soon as we open. If the pain is unbearable or you have swelling with a temperature, contact the emergency department.
Yes. Children are welcome, and emergency visits for children are arranged by phone just as for adults.
Sometimes yes, sometimes no. Antibiotics are used when there is an infection with swelling or fever; ordinary toothache usually does not need them. We decide after the examination — please do not take antibiotics on your own.
It depends on what we find. An opened tooth with a temporary filling is often dealt with in one visit, while an infection may need more. You get a plan and the next step at the examination.
