All-on-4 and implant-supported dentures
Fixed teeth on implants instead of a denture that moves
A whole arch of teeth replaced with implants — a fixed bridge you never take out, or a prosthesis that clips onto implants. Examination, scan and a written treatment plan in New Belgrade, Block 45.
Free examination + a written treatment plan and fixed quote
You get the plan in writing, item by item, with the total — before treatment starts, with no hidden costs.
When your denture stops doing its job
- The denture shifts, falls out or rubs while you eat.
- You cannot bite into anything hard — meat, an apple, nuts.
- An upper denture covers the palate, so taste and speech change.
- You still have a few teeth left, but they are loose or broken.
- The bone recedes, so the denture fits worse every year.
What “teeth on implants” means
When most or all teeth are missing in one jaw, the whole arch can rest on implants. Instead of holding on to the palate or to adhesive, the reconstruction is anchored in implants placed in the bone. The result is stable: a fixed bridge that never comes out, or an implant-supported prosthesis you take out only to clean it.
Two options — same idea, different comfort
Both replace the lost teeth with implants. The difference is whether the reconstruction comes out, how many implants carry it and how it is cleaned.
Implant-supported denture
comes out for cleaning
usually 2–4 implants
- The prosthesis clips onto the implants and does not shift when you eat or speak.
- You take it out to clean it yourself, which makes daily care simpler.
- Fewer implants are needed — the procedure is shorter and cheaper than a fixed reconstruction.
- It is often possible even when bone is missing, with bone grafting where needed.
Fixed bridge on implants
does not come out
usually 4–6 implants
- The reconstruction is attached to the implants and you do not take it out — not even to clean it.
- Nothing is removable: nothing shifts, and the palate stays free.
- Chewing feels closer to natural, so the food you avoided comes back.
- It needs more implants and more often bone grafting, and cleaning requires special brushes and regular check-ups.
Which option you get is not decided in advance: it depends on the scan, on how much bone there is and on its quality, and on what matters most to you. Both are explained at the examination, and the chosen option and the exact number of implants are written into the treatment plan.
Free remote assessment

Dr. Tanja Ninković answers the photo herself — not an automated system.
How to take a photo we can read
- Take the photo in daylight, without flash and without filters.
- Two photos: your teeth straight on (smiling) and from the side with your mouth slightly open.
- Hold the phone still about 30–40 cm away and wait until the picture is sharp.
- Have a panoramic X-ray (OPG) or an older X-ray? Send it too — it helps, but it is not required.
A first opinion is not a diagnosis — the final plan comes after an examination in the clinic.
What affects the cost of teeth on implants?
The cost depends on how many implants carry the reconstruction and on what is needed to place them — which is why we do not publish a single figure. After the examination and the scan you get it in writing, item by item.
Number of implants
A removable implant-supported denture is usually carried by 2–4 implants, a fixed bridge by 4–6. The exact number is decided from the scan and the plan, not in advance.
Bone grafting
After years of wearing a denture the bone recedes. When grafting is needed — sometimes a sinus lift in the upper jaw — it is a separate stage and a separate item in the plan.
Removing the remaining teeth
If the remaining teeth cannot be saved, they are removed in the same session. That is also an item in the plan, known before treatment starts.
Temporary reconstruction
While the implants heal, a temporary reconstruction is needed. The plan states which option is possible in your case, so you know that in advance too.
Material of the reconstruction
Crowns and bridges can be metal-ceramic or metal-free ceramic (zirconia), and the prosthesis acrylic or milled. The material affects the appearance, the maintenance and the cost.
3D scan (CBCT)
Planning several implants requires a 3D scan: it shows the bone, the sinus and the nerve precisely, so placement is planned rather than improvised.
After the examination you receive a written treatment plan with every item and the total cost, fixed for the agreed plan. If treatment turns out to need an additional procedure, we discuss it before it is carried out.
How the treatment goes, step by step
Examination, scan and plan
A free examination and CBCT, a conversation about both options, and a written plan with every item and the total.
Preparation
Where needed: removing teeth that cannot be saved, bone grafting, and time to heal — usually 3–6 months.
Implant placement
Implants are placed under local anesthesia. The temporary solution is agreed on the same day.
Healing
The implants fuse with the bone over 3–6 months. During that time you wear the temporary reconstruction and come in for check-ups.
Final reconstruction
The bridge or implant-supported denture is made and fitted, with try-ins where we check the appearance and the bite together.
Check-ups and hygiene
Regular check-ups and professional cleaning, plus training in how to care for the reconstruction at home.
From the first examination to the final reconstruction usually takes 6–12 months — most of that time is healing, not visits to the surgery.

Frequently asked questions about teeth on implants
It is a reconstruction that replaces most or all teeth in one jaw and stands on implants. It can be a fixed bridge, which never comes out, or an implant-supported denture, which you take out to clean. Which one is possible for you depends on the bone and on the scan.
If the remaining teeth are healthy and can carry a reconstruction, we keep them and plan a partial solution. The examination and the scan show what is possible, and the plan states which teeth stay and which are removed.
Usually 2–4 for an implant-supported denture and 4–6 for a fixed bridge. The exact number depends on how much bone there is, on its quality and on how much the reconstruction has to carry — it is stated in the treatment plan.
Usually 6–12 months from the first examination to the final reconstruction. Most of that is healing of the implants (3–6 months) and, if needed, bone grafting. The number of visits to the surgery is far smaller than the calendar suggests.
Placement is done under local anesthesia, so you do not feel it during the procedure. Afterwards, swelling and discomfort are possible for a few days; you receive instructions and pain relief.
Yes. During healing you wear a temporary reconstruction. In some cases a temporary solution is possible immediately after placement, and whether that applies in your case is decided from the scan and the stability of the implants — it is stated in the plan.
A fixed bridge is cleaned with brushes and floss that pass underneath it, together with professional cleaning in the practice. An implant-supported denture you take out and clean yourself. In both cases regular check-ups are part of the treatment, not an extra.
The cost depends on the number of implants, bone grafting, the number of teeth in the reconstruction and the material — so it is not the same for every patient, and that is why we do not publish it as a single figure. After a free examination and scan you receive a written plan with every item and a fixed total, with no hidden costs.
With good hygiene and regular check-ups, implants last for decades, and the reconstruction is renewed when needed. You receive the implant passport with the manufacturer serial number, and the warranty terms in writing with the quote.
There is no upper age limit. What matters is that you are generally healthy and have enough bone. With some conditions — uncontrolled diabetes or smoking, for example — we plan additional measures and discuss them at the examination.
